It is my genuine pleasure to bring you greetings from Auburn, Nebraska, county seat of Nemaha County, and home of the "Avenue of Flags." And on each patriotic holiday during the year, Legion Park displays a breath-taking display of over 830 identical American flags, each white pole imprinted with the name of a war veteran from the region and the war of service dating back to the Civil War.
This community effort brings travelers from near and far to view this unique and moving exhibit of patriotism.
