The Auburn Police Department and Law Enforcement Building is located at 1805 N. St. The building houses the Auburn Police Department, Nebraska State Patrol officers and the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Department.
Members of the Police Department are: Dan White, police chief; Eric Adams, sergeant; and Tom Lister, Jeff Timmerman, Travis Roth and Renee Kenworthy, officers.
“We have an open door policy,” said White, who joined the Auburn Police Department in 1995 and has been chief since September 2001.
“The Auburn Police Department is dedicated to keeping the community safe. The department is very proactive and has developed a can-do approach to its goals. The department is very well equipped with modern technology and has highly trained personnel,” he said.

Fire Department

The Auburn Fire Department is located at 17th and P Street.
Fire meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month. The Fire Chief is Randy Bennett.
