TRANSPORTATION
Auburn is serviced by the Union Pacific Railroad running from
Kansas City to Council Bluffs with freight trains regularly making
the trip.
Commercial airlines service is available at Omaha's Eppley Airfield,
63 miles north of Auburn, and Lincoln Municipal Airport, 67 miles
northwest of Auburn.
The Auburn Municipal Airport, located three miles east of the
intersection of U.S. Highway 75 and 136, is a grass field facility
serving private aircraft.

A hard-surfaced regional airport, the Nebraska City Municipal
Airport, is located just 15 minutes north of Auburn. For more

The Nemaha County Handi-bus can be contacted by calling 274-5365.
It is the area's public transportation system running Monday through
Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except holidays.
Service to Lincoln is provided on Tuesday and Friday every week.
Service to Omaha is provided every Wednesday. On Monday of each
week service is provided to Brownville, Nemaha, Howe and Peru.
On Thursday of every week service is provided to Johnson, Brock
and Julian.
