Located at 601 J St. in Auburn, the Nemaha County Wellness Center is a recreational gym equipped with state-of-the art fitness technology geared to help all ages. Whether it’s aerobic conditioning, strength training, cardiac or joint replacement rehab, the center has the equipment and personnel to aid you in achieving your goals. TheWellness Center currently has a full body circuit-training workout that can be done soley on machines. Resistance bands, physio balls, and free weights are also an option, along with several dumbbells, barbells, bands, balls and benches to choose from. Additionally, the weight room contains a selection of cardiovascular equipment, such as treadmills, bikes, stair steppers, and hiker.
The Wellness Center is not limited to just a weight room. The center also has a gymnasium, racquetball court, sauna and pool.
Activities include, but are not limited to, aerobic classes, dance classes, karate, babysitting, massages, youth basketball and volleyball leagues, adult softball, fun runs, dances, camps, craft shows, and various seminars.
