Police

The Nebraska
City Police Department is located at 1409 Central Ave. on the west
side of city hall. The department has 13 officers. The office is
staffed from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through
Friday.
Services
include: traffic control, law enforcement, criminal investigation,
accident investigation, animal control with the street department,
weed inspection and child neglect and abuse response.
The department
has vehicle patrols of Nebraska City 24 hours a day, a bicycle
patrol and a canine unit.
Police chief is Bill Muldoon. To reach the department
for non-emergencies, call 873-6666. In case of emergency, dial 911.
