CEMETERIES

The Tecumseh Cemetery is located within the city limits along Highway 50. For information about the Tecumseh Cemetery Association, contact Kenneth Grove, 402-335-3436.

 The Cemetery Association was formed in 1876. There are over 6,000 burials in the cemetery dating back to the 1800s.

The cemetery is not city owned and there are no taxes for its upkeep. Revenue comes from the selling of the spaces and contributions from association members.

A  five-member board of trustees governs the association and establishes burial guidelines.
