LIBRARY

The Tecumseh Public Library, located at 170 Branch, opened Jan. 4, 2000 in its new location.

Hours are Monday through Thursday, 1-5:30 p.m. and Friday, 1-5 p.m.

The library has two employees, three Internet access computers, and a computerized system to check out books.

A community room is also available for rent for meetings or other activities.  The room can be made available at any time.  Non-profit organizations need only provide a deposit and other organizations can use the room for a rental fee plus deposit.

Susan Kerner is the library director.

The library promotes the Nebraska summer reading program and is supported by the Tecumseh Library Foundation.
