PARKS
City Park The city park, located between Clay and Broadway streets and 6th and 8th streets, features two lighted, concrete tennis courts, a municipal swimming pool, sand volleyball courts, basketball court, picnic area with covered shelters and playground equipment. The Legion ball field is adjacent to the park. School Facilities The Tecumseh Public Schools offer public access to several public amenities. There is a track which community members can walk or run upon. The campus also has a playground with conventional equipment and a non-regulation basketball court. Fairgrounds The Fairgrounds provide two more ball diamonds, picnic areas, stocked fishing ponds, sand volleyball and a horse arena. The fairgrounds also offer hook-ups for recreational vehicles for a nightly rental fee and public bathrooms can be opened upon request. Throughout the year, the grounds host many events such as tractor pulls, rodeos, 4th of July celebrations and the county fair. Golfing
The Tecumseh Golf Club offers a 9-hole grass-greens
golf course that is located 1.5 miles west of the city. For
a $12 green fee golfers can take advantage of the course during
the day. There is also a club house on-site which offers beverages
and snacks.
